Bought our 17 CHALLENGER 37 TB in April Friday 13th to be exact [emoji15], and the Wipers never worked correctly, only running on slow speed,and that only after rotating the switch, searching for spot where they come on.
If you've seen my other post about Debonding Cargo Doors, I've been preoccupied with that, so I finally talked to Thor again about the wipers. They gave me a reference number, and I took it to a local Thor Dealer, which happens to be a Camping World. Those folks were great, from setting the appointment, through the "fix".
THE "FIX", the tech came in and asked if I'd had the wipers worked on before, and I said no, not since I've owned it, I bought
" Pre-owned" with just over 5,000 miles.
He said well I found the problem, and it's all taken care of, there working fine now! Turns out the wireing plug, was plugged in backwards into the wiper motor.
Didn't know that could happen, but bottom line, the wippers now work as designed, on all speeds ! Still waiting to find out if Thor will cover it, as I had Filled a claim days after i purchased it. They said then it would be covered. Will cost me 30 min shop labor if not, not bad to have properly working wipers.
Oh, and tolal time there was maybe 1 1/2 hours.
