Yeah, I remember (now that I think about it) when we put radios in 'normal' cars and trucks that the military bought for everyday use in the states. One time we had to turn a regular Plymouth car into a police car (extra headlites, siren, light bar on top, bullhorn on the bumper etc. ). Most of the wiring was already there so it was just a matter of tieing in the extra stuff, cutting holes here and there, strapping it down, adding an in line fuse and that's it. Seemed like every vehicle HAD to have a radio to talk to there own people rather than use a cell phone.
