Great safety measure! That's all we do. Although I have no issues as outlined, I'll turn on the city water for showers then right back off again. We use the pump and tank for everything else. I'm also very cautious as to what water I allow in the tank. You'd be surprised if you tested the water at many CG's. Ask them sometime..."do you have current water test results for your well?".
