One of the reasons I bought the 4 door Jeep was the longer wheelbase which should be more stable on the road than the 2 door. Mine has highway tires on it. The dealer told me that one ‘can’ flat tow a Jeep, however, they strongly suggested putting the Jeep on a trailer. So many people flat tow a Jeep successfully so I think the problem is my Jeep is too heavy for my Chateau. I did talk to Thor customer service, they said my motor home should be able to tow the Jeep.

It’s very frustrating as I have a lot of money invested in Blue Ox towing equipment that I can’t use.

My toad is going to be a Ford Focus so I can’t offer any specific ideas on your Jeep. Before I gave up though I think I’d go talk to a shop that has a lot of experience in setting up RV toads. I see a LOT of RVs towing jeeps successfully and I don’t think any Class C on a ford chassis should have a problem.
