If this damaged line is pex and you don't have pex tools or "easy" access for repair even with pex tools you could try a sharkbite coupling. Pex should be cut perfectly square with the correct cutting tool but at least the sharkbite connectors are easy to put on. A little more costly but sometimes you don't have the room etc. Home Depot might be a good bet... link attached but lately my links are not working....might be my security settings. This may be a quick repair to get you back in business:
