We had a Government Tourist Police Officer carrying a pistol and a machine gun with us everywhere we went. People were exceptionally nice and we never felt unsafe anywhere!

Funny story: The President of Egypt said “we have a drug problem here and we’re going to fix it.” Possession of drugs is now a Mandatory 25 years in prison, selling drugs is a Mandatory death sentence. Egypt doesn’t have a drug problem anymore!!! And the people love it!!!
