Checking straps, hitches, hubs, general paying attention, etc... etc... that's just what we do.

Maybe; Embrace vs. "didn't like"?

Creating good "common sense" habits help maximize enjoyment, for the long haul. And, there's a big difference between "self imposed" and common sense
