Have you been to time share or vacation club presentations? This is another one of them. Some folks go to them for entertainment, but some get taken in by the high pressure pitch and buy in.
Cons-umer Rep-orts did a comparison of time share vs renting in 2016, and found time shares much more expensive in the early years. After around 13 years, the time share started saving $. Some friends claim big savings from the ones they own. Several others wish they had taken the free gift and ran!
(We recently passed on an offer of a $100 gift card for a pitch that would have taken precious hours that we spent with family.)
