All external satellite antennas require a home run coax cable connection to the receiver. The LNB on the antenna requires 12 to 27 volts DC power from the receiver or power inserter. Most TV splitters block DC current to increase picture fidelity. You should replace the splitter in your coach with one made for satellite antennas. DirecTV calls them green label because the paper label on the splitter is green. Solid Signal carries green label splitters.
