Just an opinion, but I would strongly recommend using toad brakes no matter what you pull. I forgot to turn mine on one time and didn’t notice at first so I can understand the temptation to not bother. And it’s expensive. But in certain situations I can feel the Jeep’s brakes tugging me back. Motor homes don’t stop all that well to begin with and an extra ton or two can’t help. Besides, they are required in many places. The life you save might be your own. Or possibly mine.
