Don't use silicone?
I started a thread about a leak from under the dash of my Outlaw 38RE.
I ended up buying some silicone caulking at lowes and sealing the heck out of my drivers side window. Had a light rain and no leak so far. But it was really a drizzle.
When I told my buddy that I'd sealed the window his first response was "you didn't use silicone, did you?"
He says that it'll crack and leak again in a season. Mentioned Butyl.
How badly will the silicone get?
