We always run our pump. This causes consistent consistency in water pressure and the operation of our tankless water heater.
We fill the tank, disconnect from shore water, run the pump, Repeat.
We haven't Found a reason to put up with variable pressure or a leak on their faucet we feel bad about, potential hose splits, an added outside obstacle, and we won't waste their water on a long long shower any more than we would waste ours.
40 gallons of water lasts us many days.
We try to make things as easy on ourselves as possible without affecting anyone else's ease.
