My dad had some motorhomes in the past that were nothing but trouble and mechanical failures. And he had some that were great. Our Hurricane is our 5th RV (2nd motorhome), and while not always a simply carefree ride over the years, we certainly have not experienced some of the horror stories I read here. I feel for these folks having such a bad time. Our rigs and dealer have been great.

I agree with you. It would be nice if everything that is purchased brand new is 100% free of any issues but that is not what happens in this day and age. There are going to be robotic or human errors in all assembly lines and as I have stated before, any brand and any model can have issues. Where you need to make sure is that you buy from a dealer you have confidence in. This was my second RV purchase from them and I knew going in that they would take care of any and all issues. While I wish there weren't any issues found, I was grateful that the DEALER found and fixed these prior to me taking full possession. If they had ignored those issues and let me drive off to find them on my own then I may have posted another view but again, that is the difference between a dealer and a great dealer. I stand behind my love of my Thor Hurricane Windsport 29M which I have now had for almost a year with no more issues. Can't wait for more camping trips!
