To answer part of your original question: yes, they do make cord reels for RVs. I've seen them on coaches much fancier than our Vegas. The power ones are pricey. Even the manual ones waste a lot of space. Doubt your FE has enough bay space for one.
Here's an idea you might consider, how about a properly sized bag for that cord for storage?
