All the RVs I have owned have had thin walls and single pane windows, so the inside temp will fairly quickly match the outside. We carry a small ceramic heater for cold nights, it's surprising how well it warms the coach. The LP tank is pretty small.
On sunny and hot days on the road, we will run the generator and the roof AC, along with the dash AC to stay comfortable, especially until it cools down. We were glad we ordered the optional bigger AC. When parked, we'll leave the front screen down if the sun bears down on that big front window. Despite the heat gain, we love the big view.
