The campground is flat, it is in the lowest part of a valley with mountains on both sides. There is a pool (I'm sure a lot warmer water than the stream), but there were some younger teens tubing in the stream!!!
They have some cabins there if you are bringing a crowd.
Horse riding is available just down the road and there is a real nice Trout Pond (pay by the pound 2-4 pound trout for the "catching") just a few miles towards Maggie Valley if you are unlucky fishing. They have a real neat Motorcycle musuem in Maggie Valley (10 miles away).
Of course there is Harrah's Cherokee Casino just 4 miles away.
