There are too many things to list to look for on a used RV. As a newbie you need to hire a professional to do the inspection or find a seasoned RVer to take with you. I wouldn't worry about loose screws at this stage but I would look for water intrusion and the affect it has on the compressed paper fiberboard Thor used during manufacture. If the tires are more than 2 or 3 years old, ask the seller to knock off a couple thousand to offset replacement. Same for the batteries, but lower your ask to 5 or 6 hundred.
