Added bracket to my Mudflaps
I finally added a bracket to my mud flaps.
They were not secure very well from the factory (no surprise there).
I wanted something simple but strong. Also something that would give a little if needed but hold the flap on.
I found some HD 3 foot long straps at Home depot. Cut to size, added a half twist to make more ridgid, Drilled one hole in a frame support and used the OEM bolts on the mudflap.
Worked out great. Much firmer but if I run over road trash it should give some but I dont think I will loose my mudflap.
They are much heavier and Thicker than they look in the photo. They are NOT the light weight strapping than you can bend by hand to hold drain pipes in place.
