How do I remove this panel to clean out the cause of this awful smell?

Ouch! I have never tried to get under there but I sort of doubt that they are actually removable. I believe they may be part of the cooling unit, bonded to the cooling tubes. I’d contact Norcold and see what they recommend and lacking that I believe I’d try flooding it repeatedly with warm water to flush it clean and then put a box of baking soda in it over the winter. Eventually it should settle down.

Our fridge failed while we were away visiting friends on one trip and we happened to get back just as the miasma was developing. We got it cleared up in a day or so.

Good luck
