Gas Mileage
We own a 2019 Compass (on a 2018 Ford Transit chassis). When I picked it up, it was showing about 12 mpg (have to do a bunch of conversions from Canadian measures.) Thor drove it across country to Vancouver and probably used interstates. It had about 2000 miles on it when I picked it up.
But since then, we've taken it on several longish trips. We now have over 25,000 miles on it - mostly through mountains. I stay off interstates - take my time and enjoy the trip. We very seldom go over 60 mph - most of the time closer to 55 mph. Our diesel mileage has averaged between 15.5 to 16.5 mpg.
My observation - your gas mileage will decrease dramatically once you go over 60 mpg.
