Nothing wrong with that at all. You asked, and I suggest based on the questions nuance.
I have to assume you don't weld or swage or bend tubing at home.

This is $100 tops at a muffler shop.
They'll weld and clamp and brace based on years and years of 10,000 jobs completed.

If it offends thee, pluck it out.
$100 and you'll never have to think if of it again.
