The day before dump / departure, we fill the black tanks 3/4 full of water which is usually from our fresh water tank. The better half likes a full tank of OUR water before leaving home.
This allows me to empty a lot of water when finished camping.
This also turns the black tanks to almost all liquid before dumping.
I have seen with our visitors that we can accumulate an imitation waste mountain because they feel the need to conserve water.
Water is your friend when it comes to black tanks and being clean.
