You gotta get it all the way down to the bottom
In doing so it resets
So, keep trying to lower until you reach a flat level bottom on both sides

Then raise to the top.

I have found that just lowering 6-8”, then raising...eventually screws it up and in order to fix I must lower it to the bottom level position, then raise to top & it’s fine again.
Apparently the system isn’t set up for partial lowering & raising.
