Most folks use an adapter to be able to plug in to your residential outlet. In my case, I tried it once. I was able to use my refrigerator. But it gave me some problem with the slide outs. (Gave me some error code after plugging the RV to a 15amp outlet). Since then, I just use my propane to cool down the fridge.
Sometime in the future, I will have a 50amp installed in our driveway.
