Two hours in the OR and two weeks, so far, of recovery but doing well according to the big brain fellow who did the work. Best vision is about 20/50 but it should get better within a month or so. Bummer about losing the trip - haven’t seen our son in Montana in a year. But in the greater scheme of things it’s a small burden. Hopefully we’ll still get some travel in before long.
I hope you all take a moment every now and again to appreciate whatever level of health you enjoy. It can change quickly!
