It sounds like a blockage or quite possibly the backflow preventer is stuck closed. If you start at the sink you have the drain lines going into the macerator and then after the macerator there should be a back flow preventer which is a one way valve. The water pressure from the macerator should open the valve and then it should close when the macerator is turned off. Yours may be stuck in the closed position and not allowing the waste water to flow to the tank.
