Axis Windshield leak

Our Axis may have a small leak in the upper corner on passenger side.

Can the black rubber molding that surrounds the windshield be gently pulled out and then be pressed back in? We do not want to totally remove this but to pull the upper passenger corner out and add some flowable silicon about 8 inches across the top.

My concern is putting the rubber piece back in. Is the rubber pressed into a channel?

Thank you for any tips you may have.
