Hello,
Welcome to the Forum and to the RV lifestyle.

Here are our initial tips:
1 - You are traveling, it is not a race so don't add stress upon yourself and others because of timing and schedules... If you where planning to leave @ 3pm and it is already 4pm and you haven't left, don't stress, just replan the overnight - YOU ARE TRAVELING
2 - Learn to park the rig by yourself. You and your spouse may have very different views on how to maneuver the rig and starting an argument when you just arrived is not the way to go - YOU ARE TRAVELING.
3 - Almost always distance is way more worth than time, so drive at speed you feel comfortable - YOU ARE TRAVELING
4 - Learn how your MH works and how to make the maintenance yourself. Do preventive maintenance yourself and you will avoid a lot of irritation.

Wish you the best!
