Well, as per Freightliner, due to where the leak is occurring (gasket between valve housing and gear housing), the power steering gearbox needs to be replaced.
Here is the kicker. Estimated time for the part to arrive is 72 days. Yep, 72 days.
Just any fyi, that part is ~$4K. Fortunately, covered by Freightliner warranty.
We were to leave the area Saturday after wintering here. Time to regroup and replan as can't drive the coach but just a very short distance as losing too much fluid.
Ugh!
