I'm not an engineer and am too lazy to look up the specs, but I'm sure your concerns are certainly valid. I would think that everything from the inner wheel out would be under twice as much stress when the inner wheel is off the ground. Thanks for eveyone that responded. I did not originate the post, but dug it up again to ease my mind. So you all have relieved me and our motorhome from unnecessary stress.
