Well we have had our 2013 Palazzo for a little over a year and we do it as you do, except that DW will not rest easy if any wheels are off the ground so I stick a board under as far as it will go and she is happy and I don't have to go thru the re leveling as you do! If we are using the air conditioners I manually add a tiny bit of lift to the passenger side after it has auto leveled so the a/c water drips off the driver side! I have not noted any shutter on retraction on this coach but had it on a previous coach occasionally. On that coach if it happened several times in close time period I would spay some lube on the offending jack stand, wipe it down and that would take care of it. That was not a Lippert products!

I must be missing something, as I don't see the "2 part problem" you are having! Can you restate just the problem!
