I am not sure about other years, but I am pretty sure they are the same. One problem I have with the stereo in the bedroom is there are no inputs for the television. The television has RCA outs for going to a stereo, but the stereo does not have the inputs.
Backstory:
While camping with my wife and son, when my son goes to bed and we want to watch TV, the sound has to be up enough for us to hear and this is too loud for him and keeps him awake. If the TV could be piped to the stereo speakers that sit right above our heads, then we can keep it significantly lower and not disturb him.
I didn't realize how hard it was to just find a head unit that had RCA inputs. I didn't want to cut a bigger hole for double din multimedia stereos, so I had to try and find a normal sized stereo. I happened to find one that will still has all of the functions of the stock one (bluetooth, phone hookup, etc) but also has the RCA inputs so I can run RCA cables to the stereo and accomplish what I was trying to do.
This is the model I came across in case anyone else has this issue or just wants to upgrade the stock bedroom stereo
