As previously stated, rear blowouts in SRW vehicles that have significant load with a high center of gravity were found years ago to be particularly dangerous. The government did extensive research, and the following is a report that unfortunately documents real world accidents (not tests), with real people, and real casualties.

There were many other similar accidents which lead to these two case studies. Since we drive one of these vehicles I've been concerned about the findings.
