Thanks very much for the info and picture. I'll try to explore the area behind the battery some more, including maybe removing (if possible) an insulating panel in this area. I wish I had access to the Axis engine compartment that your photo shows. Thor didn't cut Axis owners much slack regarding access by the way the hood and grill are built.
