We have put 6500 miles on in 6 months. Our VEGAS serves as tow vehicle for my racecar trailer so it gets used at least once or twice a month at minimum. I still work FT and wife is retired.
Putting miles on is good, sitting inactive is not good. More so with ethanol in gas.
When not in use for a period, wife will fire both engine and generator.
To me the only adjustment needed for higher milage use is to increase frequency of checks. We look for signs of leaks or developing issues.
