Information to consider:

This A/C size limitation may be in part because the Sprinter Synergy can be ordered with diesel generator, which is rated at only 3,200 watts if I recall correctly.

I know this doesn't help you, but may explain why Thor doesn't offer the 15,000 in this coach.
