What I found was the 120 VAC feed for computer outlet was pinched between the 1 inch square metal tube and the dash support bracket for the computer desk. This on the drivers or left side of the computer desk.

The wiring may chafe through resulting in a difficult to find GFI fault/short or shock hazard when on shore power.
When on ginny power the GFI fault or short may show up.
The wiring needs to be below the support bracket.
How much did you have to disassemble to see that problem?
