OK, I'll pipe in but take it with a grain of salt. Spent 30 plus years in the fire service and multiple natural gas training including propane. Both can be very dangerous and high heat will be your worst enemy. Just transporting should not be a problem but I would advise you to not leave the bottle in a confined space longer than necessary especially when it's extremely hot out. Like I said this is my personal opinion and do take it with a grain of salt. Just use common sense and never forget you're carrying a bomb with you so to speak.
