Camping with the Grandkids
Took our first 3 day camping trip with our grandkids (ages 8 & 11 from Washington DC area). Stayed @ Ellacoya state park here in NH. Was pleasantly surprised by the proximity to the lake, the views and cleanliness of the campground. Site # 18, shady and level. Staff friendly and helpful. CATV didn't work. Many campers unhappy with CATV system. Surprised the kids didn't complain. They really enjoyed Lake Winnipasaukee and day trips around the white mountains. Prior outings were just Grandma and I. What a difference with the grandkids. We had a great time and they were really into the RV camping experience. Looking forward to our next trip with them.
