I think you mean converter, not inverter, don't you?

The converter on our rig is located right in the same area as the breaker panel.
If I remember right, it's either right behind, or just below it.
I don't know that yours is there, but it would seem that if they used any common sense, when they built that rig, they would put it pretty close to the breaker panel.

If everything else seems to be working in your rig, I find it hard to believe that the problem is the converter.
