EXACTLY WHAT LARRY posted ... put the switch on AUTO ... presuming you hookup in the drive way before leaving home (we hookup for at least a day before travel, so refrig is nice and cold..and in doing so, you can load it at your convenience once it is cold)...in doing this you will be running on shore power...when you disconnect from shore power, it automatically goes to gas (propane) **make sure your propane tank is sufficiently full** ... when you hookup to shore power once again...it switches back ... you can verify with the lights on the switch panel on the refrig. BE SURE, TO TURN REFRIG TO OFF WHEN YOU ARE NOT USING IT ... AND PROP THE DOORS OPEN SO NO MOLD WILL GROW IN IT.
