I am too. But I'm going to try it. I guess download to a thumb drive and take it to the radio? I'd need to see my maps better to call that mirror link useful.

If I was going to do it I would put the updates on a thumd drive one at a time after updating one is done delete it then put second one on or use two drives

We used to use walky talkys during parking. With Bluetooth, my wife just calls me and because of the Bluetooth, I can concentrate on driving, not juggling a phone (or walky).

I just completed it. Just followed instructions. The only guesses were re the screenshots in each update. You DO touch "Media" for the Mpeg update and "System" for the MCU update. Reset then turned on.... No release of magic smoke noted.

did you get a remote with yours. I have a 2016 Windsport with the Axxera AV614BH and both the Owners manual and the QS show a remote. My dealer said they had never seen a remote come with one and it must be an option.

I found mine missing, too. I just contacted my salesperson and, after a short search, she had them order one...received it from Thor in a couple days.

I noted Big improvement in connected device video (I tried Google Maps, and You Tube from an iPad2).

Does anyone know there is a setting for an audio beeping noise when backing in reverse as things get close on this model? Thanks

I didn't know that the Axis/Vegas came with a backup alarm. I added the Accede Backup Sensor Kit. It beeps when I get too close to something while backing up. I added it after a tree jumped out into the road and bit my back bumper :-)

I just tell my wife to yell louder.

No rear radar on the units that I am aware of.

I have not found an audio signal on the backup camera on our 2016 Axis 24.1
I will do some checking today .. see what I can find...

REGARDING BLUETOOTH...not familiar with Android...with IPhone...go into settings and enable (green) bluetooth...on the Axxera..bring up bluetooth..on the phone a search will begin...on your Axxera Bluetooth portion of the manual, it will tell you which address will show up for this bluetooth (the phone)
enable the bluetooth found on your phone and you are connected !
Our mic is mounted to the left of the driver...Sunday, both Ron and I visited with his brother without a problem. Make sure volume on the phone is UP !

As many know...I am the wife...I am the techi person in our family. Ron designs, builds, trouble shoots, just about anything...but does not want to mess with TV/Radio/Computer settings and setups.


So...welcome all wives to this forum...these men are great and we can figure it out together !

Had the grand daughter over, and pushing the buttons in the bus. Got them back in the right positions and then noticed that the Axxera AV614BH wouldn't turn off. It was stuck on the rear camera, but said no input.
Had to pull it out and unplug it. Solved.
Never had that happen before. And can't imagine what caused it. Have not updated, and also never got a remote.

I have the same issue on my 2016 Outlaw, when turning g on left hand signal the screen shows the cars coming up on my inside and not my outside as should be, same with reversing. Is this something only th ed dealer can fix or is it a matter of just unplugging and plugging in connectors

Sounds like you may have the camera cables on the camera controller reversed. On my Challenger you access the controller by removing the top of the dash.
