Water Pressure

I have a A.C.E. 30.1 motorcoach with low water pressure when connected to city water. I have cleaned the screens on the spigots and am still having the problem.

If your coach is equipped with one, check the screen in the fresh water strainer. On my prior coach I had to clean the strainer at least once a year and it was locate in close proximity to the water pump for easy access.

Also, did you verify the pressure at the city water source with a pressure gage? Not insulting someone's intelligence but sometimes it's the simple things that bite our rears. I have found that some campgrounds have begun dialing back their water pressure.

I suppose each model coach is plumbed differently, but for mine, the city water connection is right after the water pump. So if you are getting sufficient water pressure with the pump, the most likely culprit - if it is a problem with your RV and not city water - is the water inlet and a few feet of hose.

The water inlet should have a valve built into it, so that would be the first place to check. As indicated above, check the screen, but also check the valve itself.
