Axis/Vegas 24.1 Bathroom Shelf

Anyone attempted to put a shelf in the bathroom just below the cabinet in the right corner. Seems to be the perfect spot for a corner shelf, but I'm a little nervous to screw anything in to the walls. Doesn't need to hold anything real heavy... maybe just an electric toothbrush (or two).

No shelf, but we put 3 of the 3M fastener hooks on that wall for hanging towels.

I have screwed things into other walls in the coach: Use glue and/or epoxy and do it very carefully--the walls are very thin.

When screwing into the wall on the right side (when looking at the toilet, the wall that is towards the front of the coach in the bathroom) keep in mind that the waste tank vent pipe goes up that wall.

Yeah... I have no interest in taking a gamble on putting something through the wall. I'd thought about some sort of adhesive with just a small brace... but even then I suspect it might not work well in the end. Oh well.

P.S. How'd you know about the sewer vent is that from the diagrams you've posted in the other rooms/threads?

Yes the waste diagram shows the sewer vent going through that wall. Its a Y with one vent on the roof and the Y in the wall going to each tank.

Blarg...we purchased an extended warranty to five years. We were just a bit worried at the quality that was going into RVs in general (though I still have 60 days to cancel). Even without that, I know I'd have to wait a year (mfr warranty) to do anything that would pierce a wall... that would be my guess at least. Stupid physics. Why can't I just duct-tape some shelves up and be done with it ?

There is one (a diagram) in this thread:
Axis/Vegas 24.1 waste diagram

You can see the vent pipe to the right of the toilet. The only place that could be and not be seen is in the wall.
