When we bought a 36' fiver, I remarked "this thing is a moose!" And it was immediately christened " Bullwinkle".
A buddy had a mother named Ruth and he didn't like taking her out on his boat, so the boat's name became " Ruthless". 
We haven't officially named our new rig, but I'm leaning toward " Bee Pee", as in Bottomless Pit.

We named our pop-up George after Curious George. After moving up to our Thor, we name it Sir George. We do have a Curious George stuffed animal handing in our camper.

Ours is
Dorothy
Because if there's bad weather, she'll jump right into it and becomes in essence a flying house.
The other reason it's named Dorothy is because my wife has never been the same since that other Dorothy dropped a flying house on my wife's sister...
Both Dorothys' also have something in common:
This Dorothy causes colorful language when it lands after a hard bump, and the other Dorothy caused colorful scenes when it landed.
We have met the equivalent of flying monkeys in some rv parks, and some straw brained folk, and though it's always an adventure, we're always glad to be back home.

Our Axis has been named "RoLyn Acres" by two of our grandsons.
The grandsons (ages 7 and 11) combined the fact that we live in farm country with grandpa and grandma's first names to describe our Axis as we roll down the road on our adventures...they are so proud of their play on words!
