Has Anybody used "Spray and Forget RV and Camper Cleaner"?

I was recently made aware of this product, but have heard some troubling reports about it.
Does anyone in here have any experience with it?
It sounds too good to be true... and I'd rather find out if that's the case: before I try it.
Thanks...

Bob, don't do it. Read post about that product from yesterday. Post topic "Terrible experience today"

Is this the product that they used? I saw that thread, and it got me to thinking, because I saw reports about this product in another forum.

The O.P. in the other thread doesn't mention it by name... but the results sure sound all-too similar to what I saw...

If we're talking about the same product... I'd steer clear of it!

The OP in the other thread later DID identify it as the culprit in her problem.

The old adage "if it's too good to be true it usually is..." might apply here.

Not familiar with that product but I did go over all my Axis exterior walls with Mothers CMX spray. After a good wash without any added waxes, let it dry and just spray the CMX on an applicator and wipe it on like a wax. Keep the applicator wet. It will dry a bit dull, not as dull as wax but noticeable. I did a 3' section from top to bottom at a time. Then I took my 10" buffer with a lambs wool cover and buffed the area. When it rains the water doesn't bead on it anymore, it runs right off. Bugs on the front simply wash off. I'd recommend it to anyone. Looks really good on may wifes red Edge too.

Everyone’s looking for that easy clean up, and none of these snake oils are going to work as good as a good buffer and quality wax/polymer. I did buy my wife a rolling scaffold to help her with that chore.

I wish I would have thought to ask about this product BEFORE using it on my 35' Class A as well as on my Honda Fit toad! It was the worst experience ever! Both were covered with a thick, almost white, chalky-like coating that seems to be ingrained into the paint. My husband and I panicked when we saw this. We ended up washing and rewashing and rewashing both our RV and car numerous times using Rain X car wash, Windex, and even Dawn dishwashing liquid. The only product that seemed to somewhat work and bring some of the luster back was Dawn. Now, we are stuck with a car and an RV that has pretty much lost its shine and has large watermarks all over it. This happened over a month ago and we're hoping that in time, it will dissipate with the rain and further washings. We were told last night by someone at our campsite to try using hot water so as soon as we get to an RV park that will allow us to do this, we will give it a try. Learn from me and my husband........DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

Buy yourself an electric buffer and use a good quality wax. That RV is a huge amount of surface area to buff -- especially by hand. And if you are like me and have turned a lot of pages on calendars your too old to be standing on a ladder and hand buffing an RV for hours.

Buy that electric buffer. Even the cheap Black & Decker is going to save you hours of work -- not to mention saving your joints. You'll thank me later.

I agree... Just be careful with how fast you spin it. You don't want to "overheat" your paint!
