2018 Outlaw jack override

We have a 2018 Outlaw 29H. In the past we’ve used the front jacks only (manual mode) to raise the front of the RV a bit to decrease the angle of the garage ramp when loading/unloading the bike. The last time we went to do that the control panel for the jacks came up with an error message because of an excessive angle and wouldn’t go beyond 1.5 degrees. I’m not sure how/why it all of a sudden started with the excessive angle error. Or how to override that? Also, we’ve never been able to use the RapidCamp remote for the jacks (even though the option is there on the remote).

Why not just put a 2x6 under each of the "ramp Pads" out back, and get yourself a rubber "curb ramp", to ease the transition up onto it?

Hi Bob, I have aluminum ramps I’ve used to help extend the ramp and lessen the angle. But they’re just one more thing to carry. And especially when only a couple of degrees would make things easier. Mostly curious as to why it suddenly comes up with that error message when twice before it never had an issue letting me raise the front end only.

I honestly never had that come up; when I had my Outlaw
I also used some short ramps to help get my Spyder up into the garage...

Did you start from a different slope? Maybe your level sensor got knocked out of alignment. I’d start with a reset and then set zero point when on a known good level ground. The manuals I downloaded from Thor had the instructions; I think reset is holding the enter and retract together.

To set the Zero Point, first run a manual

leveling sequence to get the coach to the desired level point. Then activate the Zero Point configuration

mode. This mode is enabled by performing the following sequence:

1. Turn panel off.

2. Press the FRONT button (Fig. 1G) five times.

3. Press the REAR button (Fig. 1J) five times.
4. At this point, an alarm will sound and the LCD display will read "**ZERO POINT CALIBRATION** ENTER

to Set, POWER to Exit."

5. Press ENTER (Fig. 1C) to set the Zero Point.

6. Screen will then display "PLEASE WAIT."

7. Alarm will sound and the screen will display "ZERO POINT SUCCESSFUL."

8. LCD will display "configuring air feature".

9. Control will then turn off.

Thanks, I’ll try that.
