Angry Bathroom door not secure

HELP! Thor, Four Winds 22E, 24.5' Door opens when slowing down and slams shut when driving off, just won't stay shut! I have taken unit to dealer's service department and they swore it was fixed. Allegedly, by removing and reinstalling the jamb. (Really? no evidence that I could see) I drive off and get about 10 miles away, door starts aflappin'! This trip was 2 hours drive to dealer and 3-4 hours waiting for repairs. No time to return for a refix. I know, I can use a pole door stop or other method, but, dang it! It's a new unit. Question, should I continue my attempt to have them fix it properly? Bought RV in March.
Any suggestions, ideas, comments?

TIA
Joyce

My latest modification to solve the same problem: I went to Ace Hardware and bought one of those sliding bolt latch and just latch it when driving. Easy install.

Edit:
One of these things, but not this particular one. Just as an example.

If the dealer already said once that its ok, bringing it back to them again won't get anything else done (other than to raise your dander).

Just fix it yourself.

I had a similar issue on our Axis and put a really strong magnet in to hold the door closed (of course now the family complains that it is difficult to open the bathroom door LOL).

Space may be a bit too much between door and jam. Can you shim it a little behind the trim or use small washers behind the striker plate to move it out a fraction? If it were 10 years old just drive a nail in the wall and bend it over the door...I'm with you on it being a new coach and should work right.

I understand the aggravation. But one thing to keep in mind is that there is a lot of flex in a unit driving down the road. We had a bathroom door that would swing wide open and latch in place to isolate the front of the coach from the back. Even when parked and level there were times when the latch would not work. Other times it would worked just fine. This was all due to flex in the frame. I’m sure the flex is much worse when moving. If you can fix it yourself there will be less aggravation than taking it back to the dealer. Oh, when I have something done at the dealer I always ask them to show me the fix. But, I’m from Missouri.

After all: driving your house down the road is about like subjecting it to earthquake forces...
Add a cross-bolt latch, and drive without worries!

We have a velcro strap at the top that attaches to the wall to hold the sliding doors open when driving.

That's exactly what I have and it works great. I'll get a picture.

Quick n easy... just get an old fashioned rubber door stop and slide it under the door.

More in depth... search YouTube for "fix out of square door/hinges". VERY likely the dealer will NOT fix it to your satisfaction. Honestly I wouldn't waste valuable travel/camping time on a fairly simple fix.

If you've ever owned an "antique" house, you've seen it all before... I still have splinters in my fingers from wood shims.

Bathroom door not secure

I have the same RV just a 2020. The bathroom door would open on ours sometimes and bang against the magnetic door stop causing it to break ( the door stop is plastic) To stop the door from opening we just started leaving the blanket or bedspread sticking out so the door has something holding it. this works for us and we travel every other week to state parks 2 to 4 hours away. As to the door stop look into a metal one, I found my replacement on Amazon.
