You should not have to remove the dash, or even screws to get it out. In your owners bag, or with your new radio there will be 2 L shaped pieces of metal that you slide in beside the radio. They will release the unit. Slide it out the front, unplug, plug in new unit and push it in until it clicks. Five minute job.
