Realistically traveling we often won't have a full 80 gallons of fuel. Just depends on prices along the way. And 50 gallons of water is more than we would normally have on board unless we intend to do some dry camping along the route.

I always fill my gas tank especially after a trip. The fuller the tank the less condensation in the tank
